With “Part Of Me” Sitta is releasing her first solo record on April 3rd 2019 at the beautiful concert hall of opderschmelz in Dudelange. This EP consists of original songs created and recorded at Da Town Studio in Marseille in cooperation with Grammy winning producer, engineer and mixer Joe Chiccarelli at Sunset Sound Studio in Los Angeles. Sitta’s style is best described as "Urban Soul with Persian Spice", a blend of bass-rich grooves interlaced with sonoric moods of traditional Persian instruments. Through her songs Sitta tells us stories about life away from one’s roots, of growing up and letting go, of overcoming fear and of loving without boundaries.

The daughter of an Iranian opera singer and a German actor, Swiss-born vocalist Sitta has known and loved the arts since she can remember.​

Sitta gathered her first experiences on stage in her early childhood singing backging vocals at her mother's concerts, Farah Afiatpour. Other influences were such icons as Maria Callas, Joni Mitchell, Sade, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, and the late Aretha Franklin, to name a few.

First trained in classical singing, Sitta later broadened her 4 octaves spanning vocal spectrum in the genres of R'n'B, Soul and Jazz at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Zurich. Her love for traveling and humanity's manifold cultural expressions exposed her to further ethnic styles (African, Brazilian, Indian) not to forget the wealth of her own cultural heritage: Persian music. This also reflects itself in Sitta's performances as guest vocalist with various artists, such as Merge of Equals, Espresso del Lago, Minus 8, or Eduardo Nascimento.

In New York Sitta sang upper soprano in an international choir at a sold out concert at Carnegie Hall in 2002. The same year she also performed at the Manhattan Concert Hall with a gospel choir directed by Van Gilmer. Sitta was also a co-founder and singer of The Fine Groove, a female vocal group performing R'n'B and soul music in Switzerland.
